Spring Transformation

The spring season is full of transformations. The temperature rises to a more bearable degree, opposing Mother Nature’s last few months of freezing surroundings. The leaves we saw fall and flowers we saw wilt are now budding into lush, green, picture-perfect plants. Aside from the weather’s transformations that occur in the spring season, we are transforming our lives, too.

Let’s celebrate the energy that is bursting forth in this season; the new life, new potentials, and new opportunities that are present in our own lives. On the first day of spring, when the dark and light are equal, it is a celebration of the present moment – where true life lies. This equality of darkness and light, the presence of both of them, are reminders for us of the need for balance and the power of living a balanced life. We must remember that it is so important to recognize the darkness and the light, and to remember to be thankful for the push and pull, the yin and the yang, the ups and the downs, the good and the bad, the suffering and the joy. Like the changing of the seasons, everything happens in due time. With the changing of the seasons, that old reliable cycle of death and renewal every single year, we are struck once again with the knowledge and belief that our lives follow the same pattern: new, old, new again. Orientation, disorientation, and reorientation. It is the cyclical pattern of transformation, of growth, of new adventures, new opportunities, and new ways to reinvent our lives.

Today, we celebrate the season of spring by remembering that we need the balance that nature provides. We need this balance in our food lives as well. Are you feeling out of balance? Struggling to achieve a healthy weight for you? Is your relationship with food at one extreme or the other? Learn more about how the Metabolic Reset and Weight Loss Program can help you. Our weight loss program recognizes that each person has a different relationship with food, and that certain foods are more nourishing for our bodies than others. We also understand that meaningful weight loss takes time, and is the result of deep personal growth and sustainable lifestyle changes. With this program, you will receive the support and tools you need in order to reach your healthy weight, and to trust your ability to maintain it for life.
